Community members are invited to sign up for the Alcoa City Educational facilities Foundation in honoring two exceptional alumni, two major family members and a company supporter of the educational institutions at its seventh annual Legacy of Excellence Alumni Recognition Gala on Aug. 27.
The Legacy of Excellence Awards this calendar year will go to outstanding alumni Faun Norton and Judy Watson-Knight.
The Legacy of Leadership Awards, supplied to Alcoa people who have made considerable contributions to the the educational institutions and local community, will go to the Mary Scott Cobb and the F.G. and Christine Karnowski family members.
The Legacy of Partnership Award is currently being presented by Residence Depot.
Faun Norton
Norton graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1949, with a double major in enterprise schooling and business office administration.
