Heritage Foundation announces history and culture center at McConnell House in Franklin

The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County will transform the McConnell Residence assets into the Background and Culture Middle of Williamson County, Tennessee, the organizaiton announced Monday. The house at 108 Bridge St. in Franklin will attribute interactive historic displays and host corporation gatherings and private rental gatherings.

“The Heritage and Tradition Heart of Williamson County, Tennessee, is a desired destination for revealing our past and reveling in the existing,” Heritage Foundation president and CEO Bari Beasley claimed Monday. “It truly is our target that by exploring a number of perspectives and sharing neighborhood tales by the regional and countrywide lens of Williamson County, this put will encourage exploration, critical imagining and a sense of community.”

The new background center is set to open in spring or summer months 2023. Beasley said the ticketed vacation spot will give the Heritage Foundation yet another way to capitalize on Franklin’s profitable tourism business.
